Tillapaugh Awarded Honorary Doctorate from American Pathways

On Saturday, August 16, 2008, Tillapaugh was awarded an honorary doctorate from the American Pathways University (APU). According to APU President, Dr. Larry Marlatt, “This is an opportunity for us to provide recognition to the work of the StreetSchool Movement in stemming the drop-out crisis and Tillapaugh’s efforts to lead that work over the past 23 years. He is more than deserving.”

The commencement ceremony was held at the High Learning Center, 2101 High Street, Denver, CO.
